I put a Kahler Bass Tremelo on a bass I had several years ago and strung it with piccolo strings (an octave higher). They no longer make the Kahler tremelo - it didn't catch on as a usefull addition for bass. I bend the necks of my basses for vibrato. The Kahler is very cool to play around with though, and it can do some amazing tremolo. The neck on this bass is from DiMarzio, finished in clear fluorescent hot pink.
