Notes: This is a sneak preview of a new model bass I'm designing with Yamaha. This prototype version plays beautifully and sounds very unique. It has many new features that make it a very special innovative instrument. It can switch from "Active" to "Passive" while it's being played; It has a semi-hollow body for a totally unique tone; It's pick-up placement is designed for tonal versatility It's a totally new design, built to create a whole new sound and feel, while still paying tribute to many classic basses from long ago. Production has begun and they will be available soon.
